SUNDAY SEPT 26 REPORT

WE ARE NOT SAILING TOMORROW (MONDAY).

Got down to the dock this morning and thought we were going to have bad conditions with the northeast wind, but all in all, not a bad day on the water. Fished down the beach (same place as yesterday), water was a bit sloppy, but most anglers stayed at the rail. Had some nice fluke, not too many shorts, and a few sea bass. Nori Manabe, a very loyal angler from my Sheepshead Bay days, came down with a few friends. Nori took the pool with a 6+ lb fluke and also landed a 4lb and 3lb fluke, so he gets the VIP spot.
Notable catches in the 3lb category are John McGuire, David Bastos,and Mark Ebiendesa. The 2+ lb. category goes to Chris Stewes with 2 fluke weithing in slightly better than 4 lbs.
