Dolfin Dock fishing report, Somers point, 6-20

[Fishing Report]

Two of his rental boats returned to the dock Friday with keepers caught at the Anchorage inside Great Egg Inlet. Mark Tiefjen of Ocean City got four keepers and a striper in the back bays of Ocean City on Tuesday.

Barrett said the deeper waters behind Ocean City off the old Coast Guard Station hold bigger flounder.

Howard "tooth pick" Nelson from Sicklerville caught an 8.03lb summer flounder off the Corson Inlet Bridge.
10 year old Max Behr from Lansdale caught a 2.90lb fluke on minnows behind pier 4 in Somers point/
Barbara Kerrigan from Somer's Point caught a 65lb drumfish
from Delaware Bay on clam.
First mate Matt Cruse fishing on the Stray Cat caught a 22 lb monkfish in 80 feet of water off AC
Debbie Brooks from Phila fishing with Dave Brooks and crew landed a 225 lb Thresher shark from the dog Lump.
Tim McBride from Somers Point and his crew on the Royal Flush (Andy Duffy and German Oppenheimer) boated a 350 lb Thresher shark on the dog lump after a 2 1/2 hour fight.

9 year old Trent Pierce of swarthmore, Pa reeled in a 4 3/4 lb fluke on a Dolfin dock rental boat. He was fishing at Anchorage Point using bucktails and shiners.
