Diamond Jig Mods?

Has anyone ever seen/heard a diamond jog modified with beads where the swivel connects the hook to the jig body? If so, what does this do and what is used to make this modification?

Are you thinking of a beaded chain link vs. barrel swivel?

I use inline sinkers to make rockfish jigs . And to add a swivel to the brass eye and pour it .you could just use split rings ot add the swivel . jose

I believe it just provides more swivel to avoid line twist if it is being used for a trolling weight or if you are using a surgical tube trailer.

The bead chain is the old school method of providing better swivel action before the ball bearing type came into play.
