Well BBunker and myself left out of Bivalve in a thick fog that burned off quickly(thank goodness) and headed a little south of the bug in search of stripers. Not much but some weaks ,croaker and blues one half hearted run. so we waited till the flood and moved up around the fleet in the poles south of east point. No weaks a couple more croaker and a ton of nice size bluefish. Two more half hearted runs on a noggin(I'm thinkin blues) Then by 2:00 the tide died out and so did the bite. Spearing all over the place today. If the blues weren't so much fun today with air acrobatics it would have been ho hum. Used bunker ,spot and croaker, along with Berkley peeler crab(worked early ). Not alot of weakfish taken or talked about today. 19ft of water below the bug and 16.7 ft up at the flood. Sorry guy's no striper yet
