Week started off pretty slow after the noreaster. On Monday we had the pleasure of going out w/ admin on his new ride (canvas coming soon). . . ride was awesome, company was great, but Slaughter beach was quiet. Didn't see much action from the few boats that were there also. Talked to a few guys that were @ Tussey's (Jaftica Sportfishing) and they reported some pup drum and some stripers over 34" but all in all pretty slow. High hook of the day was Chef Gene on Paige II w/two drum on the early tide @ Banana Peel.
Wednesday the cleaning table saw alot more fish when the Jablonski crew brought in their mixed bag. Saturday might have been opening day of flounder season, but Vince brought in the first two fatties to our dock today. Hey Vince, I'm still waiting to hear where you got those?!?
Capt. Duke on Hot Rod Charters came in w/6 for 6 on stripers all over 36" for their first trip of the year.
Waiting to hear from a couple of other boats about the drum bite last night, but I think BMCBMC (welcome to the board) might have wore them out last week! He enjoyed the awesome bite before the storm!
