    DE BAY REPORT 5/10

Got out for the first trip of the season today. had family and friends on the boat. Went to Tussee's and tried for some Drum. Soaked some clam from 6:30 am til 3:30 pm and nothing but some dogfish and skates.

Heard of a few Drum caught, but otherwise everyone had most of the same. Quite a few boats where headed out as we were going in. Hope they have something better to report.

Hey Rick, thanks for the report from yesterday just wish it could've been a little better for you out there. Oh well, better luck next time right?

Also, welcome to Sportfishermen.com! So that the other members can get to know you better, I would suggest to maybe put your intro in the Mix It Up section, I think everyone would love to see the amazing work you had done on the boat. I know I'm looking forward to seeing some of the video that you'll be getting from the setup you guys installed.

Thanks Mary, and thanks for the advice. i will definitely do that when everything is completed (hoping that will be within a month from now). I had three solid reports directly from the sources that they caught well (4-7 fish each) for 45 minutes starting around 5:30 pm. Mostly small drum but I was told they were drummin for almost 2 hours before and during the bite. We had to leave early unfortunately so we missed the bite. At least they are starting to show a little.

Hey Exile, welcome to Sportfishermen.com. It seems too often I miss the bite myself, always too early or too late. Oh well, better luck next time.

BTW, the link to your site, at least on my end, didn't come up right. There would a few extra characters that I had to delete to get to the site.

Hey Dave!!! Thanks for the good words. I appreciate it. Have you been able to get out at all lately, or just waitin for the offshore bite to start up? Gimme a call sometime.

Wildlife Management - thanks for the heads up about the website link. I'm gonna see what I can do about that. If you get out drummin anytime soon, good luck.

while your fishing, is FANOS working on the boat? that's got to be one long extension cord.

Hahaha... That would be one for the Guiness World Book of Records. Longest recorded extension cord.

    Hey Capt. Ricky!

Great to see you up on the board and we are ready for another great season on the Exile!

Can't wait to nap downstairs in the salon while you are doing all the work... except for the catching, of course....
