Which color shad bodies for an umbrella rig -- gift for my friend

I am going to get my friend a few umbrella rigs and jigs/parachutes as a gift. We will be fishing out of Barnegat Inlet, primarily in the spring and early summer for stripers. What color shads and 11" twister tails should I get? And what is better -- 4 inch or 6 inch teaser shads with a 9 inch chaser?

I will be ordering this soon from C&K tackle. i emailed him but haven't heard anything.

6 inch pearl shads have worked well for us
