Timmy & I had Eric and his buddies out for a day of chunking in the Del. bay. We started off over on the dark side to catch the end of the flood tide. We boxed 3 over there up to 33 lbs. And dropping one at the boat! We made a short move up the bay and didn't have a bite up there, so we headed back to a spot that usually holds some bait & fish! We anchored up and within 20 mins. had the first one on! We had a steady pick of bites landing about 75% of them! At the end of the day we boxed 9 nice fish from 23 to 39+ lbs! All fish were caught on bunker chunks! With all the bigger fish taken the heads! The chunk bite has been on fire! This is one of the best bites we've had in a long time in Cape May!
PS
Mary could you post the picture of the whole crew back at the marina? Thanks!
Here's Herb with the biggest of the day! 39+ lbs.
