My friend Bobbo and I grabbed a bushell of clams and hit the water at 515am. Starting chumming and fishing at 550 at Old Orchard..not even a rap on the rod. A few marks on the hummingbird and a few blues caught on chunks by a few guys near us. We tried Romers Schoal and Highlands Bridge..ugotz!! Then..the wind screamed in and kicked our asses around the bay until we threw in the towel..T.K.O back to the Atlantic Highlands marina. Bad fishing conditions but good company and really good salami and cheese sandwiches!!

Sorry to hear.. tough luck - broken rod & Ugots!! hope it turns on soon for you,,, I am still tied up to the dock until the mechanic gets down & does his thing... could be worse!! See ya out there.
Thanks for the support, lol. You're right it could always be worse, especially when ur boat is dipping into ur bait and fuel$$!! I never took the plunge tho..friend owns a boat, splittn the fuel/bait fits well! Hey if you ever get tired of the boat ins. biz or looking for a 2nd gig, let me know. My wife recruits for AFLAC, can get u set up in NY/NJ, or if your company wants AFLAC insurance. Disability, accident, cancer, life etc.
