I have some friends heading down to the Chesapeake for a week. Just wanted to help them get set up. What's the hot bite and the hot bait and/or lures??

Small bucktails/parachutes, BKD's for casting and jigging, Summer Billy Bars for trolling, and small Bloody Point Spinner Umbrella Rigs will do the trick.

Go to the gas docks and live line or troll for the rockfish which is outside of solomons area.
