Central Jersey may 5th
. Then we started heading north and off mantaloking we spotted a few birds workin so we stopped there and had a bunch of bluefish on the clean side of the tide line, and only 1-2 on the dirty side. A lot of the times they would just follow it up to the boat and swim away, which was kinda fustrating but awsome to watch them stalk the jig all lit up. They went after the Brighter colors like red and yellow, we couldnt even get them to follow the green tails up . Tons of fun on light tackle . Can't wait till the bunker move in with the bigirls rite behind them.

We were on a 31ft blue hull stamus. My father got it a few weeks ago and this was our first fishin trip on it. (atleast we kno that its not a fish reppeler
)Capt. Jay, we were trolling right next to you for a while. Yea it was tough out there but i still had a blast, it was my first time on Jersey water in way way way to long. I didnt see any bunker, but it looked like the bluefish were thowin up a belly full of sand eels. |

We were right by you guys down south. The Wally World is out of Clarks. we had a small school of bunker pop up behind us and the blues came up and chomped them all and the water turned pretty red by us.

Like Mike had said Wally World is docked at Clarks Landing Marina in Point Pleasant. Also those bunker we saw, were off the pipe in Manalokin, just large blues there, only trolled through them, didnt bother snaging any. and most of the blues and what smaller bass that were around seemed to be eating rain fish, might of been some sand eels in there also. |
