Cedar Creek Tackle fishing report 11-21 Milford
Nov 21 Weekly Fisherman Report
At Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle, Tom says the tog are out there thicker than he can remember and the majority of the stripers are being taken during the first 2 hours during tide change, mostly on the incoming but also several on the outgoing. Chunking bunker, drifting eel, and trolling with Stretches or Bombers have been successful. They are still getting in fresh bunker, in limited quantities, so call ahead.
On the 19th, Bill Lingenfelter and Gibeck came ashore with a striper and a gator blue, fishing between Site #7 and Brown Shoal. Gibeck's striper was caught on a Stretch 25. Dave Helsdon, also fishing between Site #7 and the Brown Shoal, weighed in a citation 27.46 lb striper with a 23 1/2" girth. On the 20th, Ryan Dillard came ashore with 2 stripers while drifting the rips at the Brown Shoal, caught on eel. Timmy Farr also came ashore with a 19.87 lb striper, also fishing the rips. John Carr and Wilson Freeman also came ashore on the 20th with their limit on tog from Site #6. After running out of hermits, green crabs finished the day.
Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle has winter boat storage available and will be open for regular business until closing for the season on Dec 15th. If you are looking for reef anchors, they have them in stock, from $5.00 to $20.00.
