Caught my first nice size bass !!!

Sorry i have not been around much i have been down the shore learning the deleware bay and how to bass fish .

Last weekend i fished utchies tournament and did very bad caught 20 plus fish but none had any size to them . But since i did not weigh a fish in i was put into a drawling and won a trip to disney world so it was not all bad

This weekend i fished the asa tournament at south jersey marina . On the first day ragin cajin had a 39 lb bass and guess who was in second place at the end of the day. . I held second place after the first day with a 32 lb bass . To be honest even though my fish did not hold the spot for us i was super excited Personaly i was just happy to be up on the board with the name sportfishermen.com in second for one day .

Ugly mug won the tournament again with a 41 lb bass and from what i heard this is there third year in a row So congrates to them !!!!
Ragin cagin held second with a 39lb bass and im not sure of the other fish but i saw a 35lb and a 33 lb bass.

I ended up in 6th place for the asa tournament and also cuaght my first bass of size so it was a great weekend all in all ..

I will plan on getting a new contest up this week and get back to work and i also see our programmer got the new arcade up and running . He says he has about 30 more games to add to it . So it should keep us all buisy this winter playing these addicting games .

    John's First Bass

Now that fish will put the "Monkey" on your back. Did he take the bait and run? or was it a tug and set the hook and wind in? During the ASA, we caught all slots. My friend Tom went to Blakes and the boat in front of him caught a 42" & the boat right behind him got a 46"? he got a 37" Blue. He did go to the wreck where I was the following day and did catch slots and many 36" Blues. We lost a lot of rigs as did every one else fishing for the big Striper. Hope you catch some Tuna Today. Good Luck. My boat is heating up and I have Two new heat exchangers coming in so I can fish this week end for some big stripers. So I'll be running around.

Talking John I need to correct you.........

It's not called the Delaware Bay...... It's called "The Big Pond" As you ocean going fishermen would call it!

That fish was sorta boring . He picked up the bait and just seem to move around slowly with it and i just set the hook and it was set in his gut . He then just came right up to the boat and gladly swam into my net.

Unfortanly i did not get to go offshore had trouble finding a crew and then my moter would not start . So i played around in the "big pond" today and got a couple small fish .

I will be going out this weekend so hit me up

I just wish I could catch more of them "boring" fish! Just our luck, a Shark, Tuna fishermen starts fishing the "Big Pond" and catchs a boring fish most anglers would kill for! Just your luck. Hope you get the motors started. I'm still painting my new heat exchangers for the boat and maybe sometime tomorrow I'll get to change out the ole ones.
