Caught everything in the bay except a keeper!

Went out yesterday 8/15, fished the Sandy Hook channel from 8am till 4pm and caught everything in the damn bay except a keeper fluke!! Caught 3 starfish, mussels (threw back), Dogfish, cocktail bluefish, 2 skates, spider crab, lots of shorts (mostly 16"), a keeper blue crab and of course those annoying sea robins. Also caught an odd short fluke whose belly was half white and half brown. As usual my 8 yr old daughter outshined me and caught the only keeper of the day (20"). The kids had a blast taking pics of all the things we caught. I attached some pics for a good laugh.

That was an interesting day on the water for sure!

That flounder was an unique catch
