It's Sunday afternoon, 7/4/10. Happy 4th of July to ALL!!

Monday, 6/28, Harry Wurzel from Egg Harbor Twp., NJ won the pool with a 3-lb. fluke.

Tuesday, 6/29, Gary Woods of Medford, NJ took the cash with his 2-lb. black sea bass.

Wednesday, 6/30, Frank Daurizio, Manahawkin, NJ, was top dog, beating all with a 3.3-lb. flattie.

Thursday, 7/1, Bob Schneider from Barnegat, NJ closed the barn door and won the pool with his 4.3-lb. summer flounder.

Friday, 7/2, Joe Graber of Medford, NJ grabbed all the loot as he boated a 5.9-lb. fluke.

Saturday, 7/3, Bob Pianetti, Manahawkin, NJ, played "That Same Old Song" and was king for a day with his 3.9-lb. flattie. Saturday afternoon on our 3 pm - 7 pm trip, John Snyder from Warwick, NY went to war with the flatfish and nailed a 7.4-lber and is now our NEW TOURNAMENT LEADER.

The water temperature went up to 66 degrees in 55 feet of water on Friday. Some larger fish are working their way down the beach and out of the back bays. Squid and spearing are doing the trick for the most part but some fish have been hitting the artificial. On July 16th we will be switching over to TWO FOUR-HOUR TRIPS, 8 am - noon and 1 pm to 5 pm. Adieu.
