Joe(Mark's good luck charm) and Mark from Pocomoke MD did really well today using peelers and seaclam they had around 10 striped bass fishing the Assataeague surf with Capt. Steve's modified fishfinders. 40'' 24.5 pounds and 36'' 18.5 pounds. They said" Thanks Jesus"

The Charlottesville Duo with thier biggest ever fish caught. They stopped by the shop got hooked up with mod. ff and clam and peeler and hooked into this 33 inch striper in the surf tonight. Their first ever rockfish off the beach, I helped them get it out of the wash. It was a great night out on the sand.

Don Zet with limited out on black drum and rockfish this morning on the Assateague Surf!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Justin Chenault who had 3 nice fish, fishing the Assaeague Channel 25'', 22'', and 19'' respectively he caught the 25'' on a Capt. Steve's Pink spin and glo bucktail teaser rig and live minnows. Speaking of minnows we have some of the bigget ones in of the season.

David Miller of New Freedom PA limited out on flounder today fishing the flats near Queen Sound using the Eact Coast Flounder rig and some custom Capt. Steve's Spin and Glo Buctail Teasers.

Gary Savage and Raymond Layton, of Berlin, MD, fished AI VA on Friday(5/8), and caught a 36" Rock, 33 1/2" Red Drum, and a 31 1/2" Rock. The small rock and red drum were both released.

Todd Tarr with a nice black drum caught at the CBBT using seaclams and fishfinder rig.

John Smith with another bib black drum at the CBBT using seaclams and fishfinder rig.

Mike Goodenough with a 55 pound black drum caught at the CBBT using seaclams purchased at Capt. Steves. He was using a fishfinder rig with 9.0 gamis. If you need help rigging up swing by the shop. We have rigs that will do the job.

It's been another great day here on the island. A few people are starting ot show up getting geared up for our upcoming Flounder Tournament for the upcoming weekend. The flounder bite was good once again sonsidering all the weather we have been having recently. The beach has been on fire here lately. Even Leo "O" of the OtDG braved the elements changing his status from "Fairweather Fisherman" to "FISHERMAN" he had 2 nice stripers today 37'' and 39''. Electric Rick Volz had a 41'' and a 38'' they were both using Assateague mod fishfinder rigs. I had another great timje on the beach seeing 2 anglers catch their first surf stripers. We have in fresh clams, live peelers, nice minnows. Remember to take out the elastic tie as this will help you hold the softer baits on the hook and increase your hook-up ratio. It's been another fun long day. We ended it up by painting some of the floor, always renovating the shop looking to make room for our always increasing inventory. Thats it for now. Tight Lines!
