    June 27, 2012
Today was a good fishing day.
Today was a good day to have been fishing, sorry you missed it. What a difference a day makes, the fluke turned on to feed, we had alot of life. Just like yesterday we had a N.W. wind and a decent drift, along with a flat ocean, plus great weather. The drift started at .5 kts near the beach as we moved into deeper water we had a 1.2 kts drift. We again, caught a "lot of short fluke " good fishing action all day, it kept you busy at the rail. Not only did we catch shorts , we also caught our share of keeper fluke and some nice size sea bass.
Roy Pierson of Burlington N.J. had a nice pool $$$ winning fluke at 6 lbs. 10 oz.,plus several
other keeper fluke." Nice fish Roy". In 2nd place was Rick Coriasco of Staten Island N.Y. he had a
fluke weighing 5lbs. 1 oz. "Good fishing Rick"... The Geraci Family combined, had a dozen keeper fluke. Others had their limit of fluke , and many others had several keeper fluke and sea bass each.
With a faster drift the squid & spearing worked well.
Overall it was a good day fishing..

The rest of the week looks like great fishing weather and winds.. Come and join us bring your family or friends, get you share of the fluke and sea bass..

Another nice day on the water
We had a nice day on the water , the ocean was flat, we had a N.W. wind and a good drift of 1.6 kts.
We fished from 18 ft to 44 ft. of water, we started near the beach and let the N.W. drift push us into the deeper water. There was a lot of fishing action where ever we went. We had a lot of short fluke, you had to filter through the shorts to get the keeper fluke, it gave you action all day..
Capt. Nick Kouval went home with 4 keeper fluke others had a couple keepers.
Both squid & spearing and spros buck tails worked well today.
It looks like we are going to have an upcoming week of good fishing weather. Join us for a fun day, bring your friends.

A fair day of fishing today
Just like yesterday, the ocean was flat the weather was warm, but again, in the morning we had a slow drift of about .2 knots, no wind to push us around. we did catch some shorts and only a few keepers. As we approached the afternoon the drift started picked up and so did the fishing. The first big fluke we caught was the pool $$$winner weighing 7lb 1oz, , caught by Jerry Witter of Twin Rivers N.J. "Nice fish Jerry", plus he had other keepers..The 2nd runner up was a 6 lb. 10 oz. fluke caught on a spros.. Our regular Jim the watchmaker, was satisfied with his limit of fluke. Roy Pierson of Burlington, N.J., had 3 keeper fluke. Another group of four had 8 fluke and Charlie Malko had two keepers, recently he had been pulling 4-5 keepers over the rail.I forgot to mention we had some nice size sea bass come over the rail..

If you are coming with a group we can reserve a spot on the boat for you.Call us 732-977-2020 .
We can give you a discount for your group..

Fishing was good similiar to yesterday.
    Let's go fishing
The ocean was flat , the weather was hot, we had little wind and not much of a drift this morning , on our first drift we had some keeper fluke, the spros-buck tails did well.. We went offshore into 58 ft. of water, the action picked up with some nice sea bass and some keeper fluke, still not much of a drift..We decided to fish closer inshore, the wind picked and the drift improved and so did the fishing, with more keeper fluke coming over the rail. The squid & spearing also did well....

Tom O'Brien of Toms River. N.J. went home with 4 keepers.
Patrica & Charlie Kricher of Boothwyn Pa. , had two nice fluke each.
Scott Mac Cormack of Port Republic, did well with his 4 keepers.
John Troger from Pt. Pleasant N.J had a smile on his face with his pool$$$winning 5 1/2 lb. fluke, and let's not forget the 4 other keeper fluke he had.. "Nice fishing John"..

This weekend looks like great fishing weather with some winds from the NW.

    Better day of fishing--today
Today was a better day of fishing, we started to fish in 57 ft. of water, over the rocks, we caught some nice quality sea bass, with some short fluke and we only had a slow drift. Later the N.W. wind picked up, we had a better drift and moved to 44 ft. of water, we were getting several keeper fluke on each drift along with shorts mixed in the catch, there was a better concentration of fish..
Some of the group had 3 keepers others had less. Both bait and spros did well today..
Overall, it was a better day of fishing..

Pictures are of fish recently caught
