Captain Andy's Fishing report, Margate 11-1
If you are not Striper fishing you are probably sleeping. Things are really heating up this past week. Last Saturday there were bass off of Brigantine. Sunday they moved down the beach off of Atlantic City and Margate.Saturday anglers were trolling in about 15 feet of water. By Sunday the fish were out in 60 feet of water but on the surface. The weather was not that great this past week but bass were taken off the beaches and around the local bridges using live Spot. Other than the stripers the Tog fishing is still excellent.
Local catches

1. Doc Freeman and Jim Mannery boated 3 nice bass off of the north end of Brigantine this past week. The fish went 34.6 lbs, 33 lbs. and 30.4 lbs.
2. Geo. King (Kingfish) along with Geo Mackain and Dan Dailey had bass to 37 ‡ lbs off of Brigantine in about 15 feet of water on Saturday on the troll.

2nd: John Reese -- 31 lbs. 6 oz.
