Today I went out on a scout trip with Jimmy and Joe on Jimmys 33 contender to look for Trophy Striped Bass. We found them and found them good, upon arrival at our first stop we had action right off the bat with 3 cookie cutter 30+ pounders that 2 of the 3 were released. The first one was gut hooked to bad so we kept her for the table. The action died so we left and looked for more fish. Once we found some good marks it was on catching 12 more fish mostly in the 25 pound range and releasing all but one fish that was again badly gut hooked. we missed about 5 fish and pulled the hook at the boat on two fish. so total tally was 15 for 22 stripers today. The action is just getting under way and remain very good fro the remainder of the month, and perhaps into June. I still have some weekdays open for charter throughout the month of may and june just call or e-mail for up to date availability.
