Cape May Tog 12-9-07

Fished with Capt London on the Stanley Rose, out of Cape May with Backdoor Billy, aka "the knife", Silent George, C&B Joe and his buddy Matt, and Kevin Kennedy....

Was not a good trip at all for Cape May standards.... DEFINITLY could have done just as good, or bad, right here at home.... but we took the shot at big fish and it didn't happen... Fished 2 wrecks and some tanks, had both greens and whites as bait... fish were way off the chew... VERY light nibs..... had a few I hooked that were just hanging on it without even a nib.....

Billy and I did ok... had my limit as did The Knife... Last wreck I boxed one at 10.3 and one at 10.9 lbs within a few minutes of each other.... Kevin I believe snagged 4 keeps as well.....

Boat finished with 28 in the box with maybe 24 to 30 shorts going back.....

Will do it again after this snowy weekend

Hey man nice fish.Im gueeesing that you got them on some crabs and maybe on some CLAMS???????. Let me no what you got them on please.Im going out on Capt.ROBBINS saturday. Hope i get some............Went out last saturday out to the SEA ISLE LUMP and we were jigging some big 3oz SPRO bucktails Chartruese and first cast got a 5lb Flounder...We ended up with 6 flounnder but the sad part was that we ended up wit no BASSSS that really sucked haha o well we'll get em nxt time......

Green crabs and white crabs.... white crabs got the bigger fish....

Yeah when up here in Ocean City i was out on the NORTHSTAR and these chinese guys were using the white crabs and they were getting the niccer fish.Anyway thanx man goodluck to ya.

Tough trip considering there are some pullers on that crew.... the chicken is really getting around though.....
