    Well welcome to the site
I fish out of cape may but my parents had a house in Sea Isle for many years when i was young.

I used to fish the townsand bridge all the time and always did well with minnows and squid. Im sure there are alot of people here though that will help you out.

    Welcome aboard

I haven't fished from the beach in a while but I did do a decent amount of fishing from the jetty's of Cape May growing up. I suspect you might pick up a striper this time of year off a Cape May Point jetty. I'm not sure if they still allow fishing from the Cape May jetty's. A lot of people fish sunset beach (by the sunken ship) but my experience has been mostly with skates there. You can also try the Wildwood side of the Cape May - Wildwood bridge. I see a lot of people fishing there all year. Others here may have more detailed...and better info for you. If all else fails just drop into a tackle shop and ask they guys at the desk. Most tackle shops will be happy to share recent info and the rigs and bait to chase em.

Once the water warms up hit any beach where they let you fish and throw out a flounder rig with a couple strips of squid on it...ya never know.

    PS

Watch out on those jetty's, that black moss will put you on your butt quick and if you fall in this time of year things can go from bad to worse fast. You'll want a pair of spikes for the jetty's and ideally someone else to fish with.

Welcome to the board and guessing your are #15 for the Devils

Welcome: Don't you play for the Devils and previously played for Dallas earlier in your career. Good luck in the Playoffs and now that our beloved Flyers have been eliminated we are rooting for the Devils. Look forward to more posts from you in the near future. Played with the Detroit's Junior team prior to them becoming the Plymouth Whalers. Same home town as Mike Medona and Hatcher Bros. Good luck and will be watching you on OLN.

Your best bet is to stop in at Jim's tackle shop ( right over the bridge in cape may) He always knows whats going on! I fish the 2 mile bridge between wildwood and cape may .The blue should soon be there and the weekies are coming .I will be down there in 3 more week and I AM READY TO HIT IT HARD .Like i said check with Jim he will hook you up!

    P.S. welcome to the board!

    Sea Isle

I surf fish in Sea Isle, I usually fish on 37th street. Fish either side of the jetties. You don't have to cast out too far. Caught a 39" 19lb striper in the suds on a clam belly last year. Boat in in Md. so I hit the surf when i go to see Mom
