I had Chris and Dave on board with me Saturday. We started to fish some of the near shore rips because the rips off shore had 6 footers breaking over them. That's not good. The wind was to be 10 to 15 NW but it was not. It was around 20 with a couple higher gusts. With the incoming tide against the wind it was a mess off the beach. You got to love the weather man.

Anyway, we got on some action right from the start but all the Bass were shorts, under 28". We got a few Big Bluefish in the 15 to 17lb class which were fun but not what we wanted. When the tide changed and began to run out the wind dropped off and we ventured off the beach. Today was not to be our day to put fish in the box. Each stop we made the best we could do was Stripers from 25" to 27". We had a blast on these fish. We caught most on eels and got a few on bucktails.
