It never fails at least one day out of two to have bad weather and tough conditions to fish in!

Our crew consisted of Chuck Speaking, Bob Ransome, Bobby Jr, Rob "Tuna City" and myself. It was a treat to fish with Ransome, as I have heard so many things about him before, and have near fished with him.

Saturday morning forecast was crappy as expected, we all thought it would have been a bit worse, but all in all it was still fishable.

Get out and started setting lines, the wind against the tide made it impossible and all the lines were running forward and the boat was swinging. Amazingly we managed one hook up in these conditions, and lost it close to the boat.

Fished these conditions out till the tide turned a little bit and headed for spot # 2 to catch the tide. Much better lines were out the way they were supposed to be and then came the wait game! Chunk master Rob had the chunks under control, Bob had the pit under control, me I am not sure what I was doing other then staying out of the cold 30kt winds

We had a few pick up run and drops and then came the long awaited 33lbr to make our day knowing we at least had a fish in the box! Fished out the rest of the day, without another bite and headed for the scales.

Day 2 much nicer day, plenty of sleep, sun was coming up and life was good. Set up, lines were running correctly baits were fresh, great start for the day. Now we just need a nice fish. Boated a 21lbr to start the day, then came the sharks sharks and more sharks.

Got a call with a report of some decent fish made the move and set up next to Clean Sweep. Boy what A MISTAKE!!! I hate Timmy would you know that we set up next to him 30-40' away and he bags a 48lbr for his charter and fish after fish after fish while we sat there and WATCHED! We called it quits and headed for the scale.

Below are some pictures from the 33lbr from day one and Timmy's 'How to catch stripers while everyone else just watches course"

I want to say thanks to everyone that stopped by Friday night's dinner at the Tuna club and I want to especially Thank Norm & Mike Lawerence for all their help with the club.

The C-View in did a fine job with the food! I think I gave Schunke the winning buffalo wings and Joe the bunker wings.

South Jersey Marina & Hinches as always thank you for all your help!
