Just a short report.
Fished the Wildwood side of the cape may jetty for kingfish & Tog. There are swarms of the little kingfish along side of the jetty and off the beach as well as plenty of The white chins along the rocks. It was my first time for catching both, So I can say that both of those swimming breeds are tricky little buggers! Good thing I learn quick...
Anyways I caught Tog on Fiddler crabs (after they stole about 30 of the 40 I had on hand).
The kingfish were hungry for clam, Small little strips of clam that I used on a 3/0 tog hook. as they nibbled on the clam you basically had to yank and snag. The "fish bite bloodworm" that was recommended to me did nothing.
Happy fishing
