    gotcha...I've seen guys using a hot bodkin to poke holes in the back of the foam cylinder and then glue the hackles in the holes.

    we def need a flyfishing/ tying forum.

    Here are a few flies I have tyed some are ones Murph showed me, mainly striper, trout, reds, bluefish and a few other assorted inshore species.

    I cant find my most prized fly after moving this past winter but ask Murph to post his squid fly - its second to none!

    In the top picture there is some electric blue ultra fine flash that didnt show up to well in the picture, but I love that stuff.
