The Manasquan River is "ALIVE" with fluke, hickory shad and blues.
John Grady of Brielle fished with Quinn and Greg Figueroa of Point Pleasant and they caught over 20 fluke in the river !! The trio used killies, Gulp and Fin-s on light tackle, and caught a couple that were 2 pounds !

lots of hickory shad at the INLET. Guys yesterday were catching them on small Kastmaster-type metal lures. The Manasquan side has been very productive.

SURF- some nice fluke in the Manasquan Beach surf, mostly caught
by guys fishing for stripers. Clams work well, as do squid and sandeels.
Most of the stripers caught in the surf lately are caught very early a.m., on clams. Manasquan and Sea Girt are good spots, bass up to 15 pounds !!

FRESH: Dan Ely of Jackson nailed a big hybrid striper in the evening at the Manasquan Resevoir !! He caught it on a Buzz- Bait !!
