Fishing was off a little this week with the conditions limiting the action.

On Monday and Tuesday the action in the back bay was heating up as the fish moved twords the inlet, Ships Channel from the Harbor Cove gas dock to the Longport/OC bridge was producing on squid and minnows Tony Santulli weighed in a 1.61 lb Flounder and picked up a 2.13 lb Tog by the bridge.

On Sunday George Erskine weighed in a 4.48 23 ½” Flounder he nailed while fishing over by Ventnor.

Bill Gentile Jr. and his crew on the “Loan Shark” boated 8 out of 9 and weighed in a 20lb. Bluefin fishing the Cigar. Mike Fox on the “High Trend” had Bluefin at the Dog Lumps and Fran on the “Out of Hand” weighed in a 37 ½ lb Bluefin he got trolling in the Cigar area.

For June the winners in the Brennan Marine Season Long Tournament were as follows Flounder - Gaton Simiriglio 6.01 LB, Bluefish- Ron Kovler 10.18 lbs. and Weakfish Jack Kanz 12.08 lbs.
