Fishing’s hot and cold streak continued this week as the water warmed up and the fish were moving around. Croakers, weakfish and flounder in the back bays and Bluefin, Yellowfin and White Marlin from the Cigar to the Canyons.

On Wednesday John Weaver fishing on the “Big Jack” weighed in a 4.50 Flounder caught in Ships Channel.

On Friday Bill Hass on the “Rose Lee” returned to there home away from home the Lindy and had Yellowfin up to 40 lbs.

On Saturday lots of boats braved the seas with not a lot of action Randy Alkins on the “Lucky Strike” weighed in a 46 lb. Bluefin he caught just short of the East Lump for the lead in the SPYC Tuna Tournament and Bob Hines fishing on the “K’s Krew” weighed in a 6.45 lb. Flounder he caught at the GE Reef. Earlier in the week he weighed in flounder up to 3.65 lbs also boated at the GE Reef.

On Sunday Ron Kovler on the “Just in Case” weighed in a 1.58 lb. Weakfish he caught on Shedder Crab at the Margate Bridge.

On Monday Ken Stulaci weighed in a potential world record Cunner Fish weighing 2.44 lbs. he caught while fishing on the North Star with Capt. Paul near the OC Reef.
