The inshore reports and the canyons seem to get hot as the week went on with a break for a few days of rain. The hot spot in shore was from the Cigar out past the 750 Sq. . The offshore action started at the Lobster Claw out to the Spencer trolling Green Machines with Yellowfin mixed in with the Bluefin and White Marlin out at the Spencer. On Saturday there were confirmed reports of football Bluerfin at the Seaisle Ridge. Flounder fishing heated up over the weekend in the GE Inlet back to the Longport/OC Bridge on squid and minnow.

Ed Rock was out at the Table Top and had short Flounder and weighed in a 3.77 lb. Sea Bass while Cathy Gallagher was fishing from the OC Bridge out to the turn buoy in the GE inlet and weighed in 5 Flounder up to 3.04 lbs to get on the board for July in the Flounder Division.

On Saturday Mike DelRossi was out at the Seaisle Ridge on the northeast corner and boated a Bluefin and moved out to the Cigar where he ran into Skipjack.

On Sunday Bill Gentile Jr. and Sr. on the “Loan Shark” along with Scott Torrens were out at the Cigar and weighed in a Bluefin and a 16 ¾ Mahi Mahi they got on the troll on Green Machines.

On Monday Harry Cottrill weighed in a 5.31lb 24” Flounder he caught in Rainbow Channel and Stephanie Ward on the “Quantum Leap” had a 10.19 lb Bluefish she caught between the 28 mile wreck and the 750 sq..

On Tuesday the back bays stayed hot with Bill Schwanda weighing in Flounder up to 4.66 lbs he caught over by the Crab Trap and Bruce Gosser on the “Capitan’s Lady” was out front when he caught a Bluefin weighing in at 15.58 lbs.

With a late report Neil McPeak left the dock at 2am on Saturday and had 6 Yellowfin on the west wall of the Wilmington.
