Fishing kept up the pace offshore from the GE Reef out to the 750 sq. all week long. Trolling was the key with the tuna on a early and late bite with Bluefish in between. Flounder and Sea Bass were being picked at the GE Reef and the Deepwater Reef on Squid and Mackerel.


On Friday Ken Krause on the “Crystal Blue” fishing with Chris, Brandon and Jack Meili boated 2 Bluefin, Bonita and Bluefish. Gaton on the “Sea E Oh” was back out at the Deepwater Reef and weighed in a 6.01 lb. 24 1/2” Flounder to go along with a 3.44lb and 3.28lb’er for the monthly lead in the Flounder division in the Brennan Marine Season Long Tournament.

On Saturday Joe McDermott on the “Celtic Crossing” weighed in a 32 ½ lb. 38” Bluefin he boated on the late bite trolling the Cigar and “Jimmy Gentile” on the “Ginna L” weighed in a 156 lb. Mao that he caught out by the 750 sq.

On Monday and Tuesday the action in the back bay was heating up as the fish moved twords the inlet, Ships Channel from the Harbor Cove gas dock to the Longport/OC bridge was producing on squid and minnows Tony Santulli weighed in a 1.61 lb Flounder and picked up a 2.13 lb Tog by the bridge.
