Well, the Flounder bite has not been too good since the big swell that we have had. But the Weakfishing has gotten very good. Yesterdays trip produced 26 Weakfish for the box up to 17in. They aren't tide runners but a lot of fun on light tackle. We caught a mess of Weakies that were too small and were put back to get bigger. But 26 is not bad.
The Croakers are still mixed in with the Weakfish and we had some up to 18in. Once again they don't get real big but if you use light tackle these fish fight hard and are a blast to catch.
I am now booking Striper Trips for Mid October thru Mid December. I'll be sailing out of UTSCH'S MARINA IN CAPE MAY NJ and will be fishing in and around the FAMOUS CAPE MAY RIPS. If your interested in a trip or would like info give me a call.
