Bluewater Sportfishing reports from the past week

Well its been a busy two weeks for me as I have been getting the 35 Henriques ready for the water. I am happy to say the boat is in and ready to fish. Now we just have to wait for this blow to end.
Her are a few pics of the inside of the boat.

Last friday May 2nd I pre fished with a buddy if mine for the ASA and with the dismal striper fishing we came to the conclusion that if we didnt catch it wasnt worth entering the contest. well after a few moves on friday we got into some fish in the 20lb range. caught a couple at the bottom of the outgoing and waited for the swing as I wanted to see if they bit on the incoming tide. well they did the second the tide started in we had three fish right away and we left them biting in hopes they would be there on saturday.
Saturday:
We had the bait ran to the spot and put in. When we got there a little fleet had formed so that made fishing a little tougher. Once we got set up the fishing was a lot slower then the day before but we managed three bites and getting three nice fish to the boat. Once back at the scales the fish were good for second place witha total weight of 41.5 pounds.

Sunday was a day off with fishing so poor with the drum and striper so I just cleaned my boat...lol
Monday and tues worked on the Henriques. Tues night got a call from timmy t form clean sweep asking if I wanted to fish with him on weds. we went out with his group of people and mugged them. It was good theropy to see these fish finally move in to their haunts. What a great trip thanks tim...
This is a great fishery right now with Slob cow bass.

Sunday was a fun trip for myself on a friends boat along witht the rest of A-dock from hinches. we got to our spot and it was tough fishing with the wind and tide but none the less after a few anchore re-sets we were able to fish. we went 5 for 8 and with the biggest 35 lbs and the smallest around 20lbs. we threw back 3 to swim and spawn. We all got back to the dock areound the same time and the boats ran the seas well as we came in at 4 pm well after the wind was howling.... here is a group shot of both boats catches.

So thats it in a nutshell I have thursday open for charter on the 35 Henriques and now is the time to get that cow bass.
I also need 4 people to round out a trip saturday night for drum on the Henriques.
thanks,
Captain Kobey.

Awesome report Kobey. Really cool to see a weeks worth of pics and reports in one post. You've been on fire lately, keep whackin 'em dude. The rig is looking pretty sweet too.
