Had Dan and his group out sunday afternoon for some good ol Drum Fishing on the Delaware Bay. The wind was honking at the dock so I thought its was gonna be a little sporty out there but once I broke the canal it was flat calm and just a little breeze. got out to where I wanted to fish but a massive fleet was there so I looked around for some good marks away from the fleet and saw some drum on the sounder so I droped the hook. It was a little slow at first but then the first drum came and a nice ne at that.

Dan with his first drum. As you can see he is a big boy so whoever said drum dont fight never caught one

The action was slow at the spot I picked but we managed to geet one more till I made a move, yes over to the fleet but sometime you gotta fish were the fish are....

Once at anchor we got a nice bite right away and soon we had a nice little drum come boat side.

After that it was a steady pic of fish with every one on the boat getting their Drum cherries poped.
Kaneen(sp) got the biggest fish of the daygoing 65-70lbs
