Fishing News

>Rick Lynch caught a 10 lb blue at Cape Henlopen Point on cut mullet.

>Reports of big blues at CHSP. One customer lost count at 20! All 30 inches or better.

>A customer reported seeing 3 to 4 keeper stripers caught at Cape Henlopen Point.

>Steven Perrin, age 13, and Chris Perrin, age 10, caught a 22.5 lb and a 12.90 lb striper in the DE bay on eels. On another trip, Chris caught a 14 lb striper also on a live eel.

>Shaun Smith of Millsboro, caught a 39", 24.85 lb citation striper on bunker at Cape Henlopen.

>Skip Moseij of Rehoboth, boated a 17.90 lb striper at the Valley on live spot.

>Jim Wahl, Jr, caught one 35" blue and a 20.20 lb citation striper north of the inlet in the surf on fresh bunker.

>Jack Austin caught 2 blues to 11.92lb north of thr inlet in the surf also on fresh bunker.

>Paul Powalski of Millsboro, weighed in a 24.10 lb tourney striper from the DE Bay.

>Kelvin Smith of Dover, brought a 48" tournament striper to the scales weighing 42.5 lb, with a 30" girth to take over first place on the leader board at Bill's Sport Shop.

>Tyler Smith of Dover, weighed in a 23 lb and a 33.6 lb tournament striper.

>Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC, reports stripers being caught from the OC surf on a bunker head topping a fish finder rig. Stripers were also caught at night on the Rt. 50 Bridge. Tautog were biting in their usual haunts. Stripers and big blues were hitting offshore within the three mile limit.

Turkey Week Striper Tournament
