> Sign-ups for the striper/tog tournament will end Oct. 31. WGMD, 92.7, will continue to be at the Wharf Restaurant broadcasting every Friday night during the tournament. Captain Bill Baker, Andrew Betts and Bill Collie will also be there live for their 'Great American Sports Talk Show' which is aired all year on Friday nights between 5pm and 7pm.

Fishing News
>Tyler Smith of Dover weighed in a 38.3 lb., 44.5" Tournament Striper. On another trip, he caught a 32.45 lb., 41 1/2".
>A customer reported catching 10 king fish at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms.
>Two keeper tog were pulled out of the rocks at Massey's Landing by a customer at Bill's.
>Roy Palombaro, Jim Amos and Art Mengel caught 7 keeper tog on the Outerwall on greencrabs. Art was high hook with one weighing 6.95 lb.
>Jeff Gardiner from Wilmington, caught a 29.80 lb 44" Tournament Striper.
>Lee Abel from Lewes, caught a 23.65 lb 40 5/8" Tournament Striper.
>Chuck Nagle brought in a 18 1/2" tog from Masseys caught on sand fleas. Chuck reported that he also had a lot of throwbacks.
>Wes Olson from Middletown brought a 24.95 lb, 43.25" Tournament Striper to the scales on Tuesday.
>Capt. Holly Ann emailed us a report: Deb fished with Patty and Jean Ann on Hook'em II's "Miss Sunshine". She cranked in a 9.5lb citation tog out of the structure. First mate, Dave, was on it with the net and they continued for an additional 4 hours of nonstop action. They had a great day on the DE Bay.
>Capt. Carey Evans, "Grizzly Sportfishing", let us know that tog fishing remains very good. The first stripers have been caught which is a great sign for things to come. We have also seen some really nice sheepshead as a bonus while tog fishing.
>Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, reports that some really good tautog
>fishing has been happening in OC from the shore and also for anglers in
boats. Small snapper blues were still biting in the surf. Assateague reported sharks, skates and kingfish. Two nice stripers were caught in OC from the beach. Stripers were biting from the Route 50 Bridge at night. Anglers in boats are catching stripers near the Rt. 50 Bridge and main east channel as well with live spot or live eels. Offshore, tautog, triggerfish, blues, flounder and sheepshead are on the wrecks.
USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 12/09
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-09, will hold its monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7:00 P.M., at the U.S. Coast Guard Station located on the North Shore of the Indian River Inlet off of U.S. 1 South. If you are concerned about safe boating in our area and would like to work with a group of men and women who are dedicated to vessel examinations, public safety courses, safety patrols, and other boating related topics, please join us. Boat ownership is not required, and anyone 17 years of age or older is invited. For information, call Dick Stevenson at 645-7296. To schedule a free vessel safety check, call Bill Tower at 945-3423. Delaware flounder fishing is closed until the end of the year.
Sea Bass is closed until November 1st.
