Canyon Tuna

The most recent temperature chart still shows a large body of warm water in the Canyon and plenty more behind it. I expect to have good fishing on upcoing trips.

There is space available on the Canyon trips sailing 7AM Thursday and 7PM Saturday this week.

Very Good Tuna Fishing Tuesday/Wednesday

Tuna fishing was very good on the Tuesday/Wednesday Canyon Trip. We caught yellowfin and some longfin up to 75LBS. There were many limits boated. The tuna were caught on either bait or jigs.

It looks good for upcoming trips. There is still plenty of good water in the canyons and it is holding yellowfin and some longfin tuna.

Ou next trips are scheduled for a 5PM departure Sunday, 7AM Tuesday and Thursday and 7PM Saturday night.

Striped Bass

are starting to bite in our area and there are also plenty of blues.

The Jamaica Star will sail at 7:30AM every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Sea Bass season opens November 1.

The big Jamaica has plenty of trips scheduled including 12hr, 14hr, and 18hr trips.
