6-24 Report
Bluefishing has been very good. The past few days and nights have been very good. The best area is still 14 to 18 miles SE of Brielle. The night trips have been producing good catches of 6 to 13LB blues on bait.

Day trips have produced excellent catchs on either bait or jigs.We have been chumming both day and night.

Recent pool winners:

Bill McDonald from Deptford NJ with a 14LB bluefish

Chad Phillips from Bangor PA with a 12LB blue,

Paul Hull from Essort PA with a 13.5LB blue.

There is a tremendous area of bluefish within easy reach of Brielle. It looks good for upcoming trips. Now is a good time to go bluefishing.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail everyday & every night at 7:30AM & 7:30PM.

6-25 Report

Night bluefishing was very good again last night. Night fishing has been good every night this week. The blues are staying in an area 16 to 18 miles Se of Brielle. We are chumming and catching 6 -13LB blues on bait at night.

Daytime bluefishing has also been very good. Thursday was a little slower than it has been, however, today (Friday) they were back in the feeding mood. The morning was good then we had a lull for a little while. We made a short move and the blues were biting again. We were chumming and caught the blues on either bait or jigs. At times you could see numerous bluefish swimming through the slick taking the baits.

The pool winner was:

Neil DeBenedetto from Forked River NJ with a 16LB bluefish.

Doug Patrick from North Coventry PA with a 14LB blue,

Dave Post from Phillipsburg NJ with a 12LB blue,

Thomas Swavely from Pottstown PA with a 13.5LB bluefish.

The blues were spread over a wide area today and everyone caught fish. The weather report for this weekend is great. It looks good for upcoming trips. Now is a good time to go bluefishing.
