Better late than never! ADAM BOMB REPORT 10/20 - 10/24
Hey guys!
Last weekend marked the official start of the 2005 fall striper season. It got started with a bang in the morning on Thursday the 20th with Bob, Brian, Joe, and Christian aboard for their five hour trip. Fishing was outstanding to get the season started! The guys had great action on live bait hooking about thirty stripers and getting twenty on the deck to 36". Everyone had a great time...

After the morning trip, we ran back out for some afternoon action with Tom, Tom, Eric, and Joe. Fishing was good at first, getting eight quick hook-ups and putting five fish on the deck to 33". We had a lull while the tide was screaming real hard, but when it slowed down we had another flurry with six hook ups and four more fish on deck to 36". All bites came on live bait and aritificials, with the biggest fish of the day at 36" coming on the fake stuff...

On Friday the 21st, we had Rob Mahon aboard for his private charter with his brother Bryan. With a stiff wind and rainy conditions, we fished hard and the guys were rewarded with lots of bites and 12 nice stripers in the boat to nearly 40". They kept their limit and released the rest. What a blast on light 12lb. to 15lb. gear. Thanks, guys!
We didn't fish Saturday with the tough conditions, but were back at 'em on Sunday with Joe Wilson and his private trip with Chuck, Tracy, Paul, and Paul. Fishing was tough with a super stiff Northwest wind blowing right against the tide. Working our tails off, we got ten hook-ups and boated six fish to 38"!
Monday was another day with a stiff wind blowing, this time from the Northeast. We had a tough go of it with Chet and his two buddies, but after working some different spots in the CM rips finally hit one at the end of the day and the guys were able to hook up a few fish and put a couple in the boat!
Thanks for fishing hard, guys, and can't wait 'till next time. We've been out of action yesterday and today with high winds, but we'll be back at 'em tomorrow and will have a full report for ya'.
