Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association September 9 Report

The captains of the Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association were sorry to see the summer flounder season come to an end last weekend. Although the weekend itself was pretty much a bust thanks to Hurricane Hanna, the days previous saw some of the best catches of the summer.
Now the boats that do their fishing inshore will turn their attention to some nice sea bass on the wrecks and reef sites, large schools of croakers, and isolated schools of bluefish.
The offshore canyons are holding good numbers of tuna, and the captains have some open dates for these trips. Additional information on the association can be found at www.BHCFA.com
