I need to be very careful here as to what I say so I don't get my head chopped off but hear it goes!![]()
Night time in OC is very good given the right situations come together. Look for deep areas with current for the eels at night. The popular spots will have boats there already such as the bridges, but that doesn't mean its fished out. Give it a try. Remember that deep water means deep compared to the surrounding waters but does not mean 20ft+. Try putting the eel at the bottom middle sub surface. I prefer the top of the out going tide for this. No currents suck.
ALso fish structures and banks and don't forget to try some plugs! But jjust do your homework and you'll find the bass in no time also remember to keep stealth at night. Don't bang the boat and try turning off your lights if you can without harm.
Good luck and hope this helps!![]()
I like to stick with the eels or artificial lures at night. I usually tie up or anchor when fishing eels at night, and use just enough weight to stay at the depth most of the marks are. Drifting in the inlet at night can be productive, but you have to be careful and know the area real good.
thanks for the reply , i'll give it a shot
