Bass in the Channels

Fished on the Chompers today with cpt James at the helm. Had a change of plans from chasing the blacks to stripers do to the 4-6 out of the East. Started out by 7 30 , trolled shad rigs first half hour not much to show ,tide changed at 7 running out. Nice swell pushing 4 foot between the channels. First fish was in the box around 8, was non stop after that. Put the 4 in the livewell then stopped to jig a few for fun. Great quick morning and a few fish for the freezer. Fish were loaded with sand eels mouths were full of them even with the shad rigs in their mouths. Here's 2 pics James will hopefully add a few with the camera these are cell phone pics

Nice job... yeah there is a ton of bait "Sandeels" in the water, nows the time to take advantage... I was out on my buddies boat this weekend and it was NON STOP action both sat and sun, with sat being the nicer of the two days simply b/c of weather.

I love it when we can be on the water and back in the office before anyone really misses you! This is how fall bass fishing is supposed to happen! And phil you camera phone makes my boat look really dirty

Looking to make a run friday, sat and sunday if I can get crew. Chompers is not as cush as Ruthie or Hotshot but warm and mostly dry.
