Bahamas this winter with the OVER UNDER

We will be running pakcaged sportfishing trips to Cat Island again this season. Our package includes accomodations, meals, fishing, and air transportation via private charter from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. We will be in the Islands from Feb-July in 2005.

I have copies of the Reel Adventures TV show we filmed and which aired on Fox recently (hopefully to be on the web soon), and you can catch us on ESPN2, the 3rd Sunday in January with George Poveromo.

If anyone is interested in learning more about our Bahamas Fishing Vacations, just drop me a line and I'll get an information package out to you.

Let me give you a few more details on the trip:

The guys that are looking for people to join them, want to go on one of our "Excursion Trips". This is a one of a kind opportunity. We only take people we know and who have fished with us before, on these trips.

We begin by flying into Rum Cay, which is a tiny little island about 10 miles around. The fishing and diving there is spectacular, and it is where I take my personal vaction time. From Rum cay, we leave the following morning, fishing our way to Crooked Island. Crooked Island is about 50 miles south of Rum Cay and offers an incredible, unspoiled, and totally underfished fishery. There are no marinas or facilities for traveling boats on Crooked, thus it's appeal to us. We anchor in the leeward side of the island, diving for grouper/loberster/conch for dinner, then dropping back on the hook a bit, we let our stern hang just inside the dropoff. At night we fish for yellowtail and snapper and feast on the days catch. (Everyone pitches in cooking and cleaning up)

From Crooked Island we venture (weather permitting) to the Diana bank, which is an underwater sea mount located out in the middle of nowhere. From 5000' this underwater island rises to 100' or something. This area, may be the most productive spot in the entire Bahamas. We will end up the day back in the leeward side of crooked again for the night. The following day, we have the option of running to the Diana Bank again, or Fishing Crooked. Eventually fish our way back to Rum Cay, for the flight home.

We limit these trips to groups of 4 anglers, plus Pete, Myself, and sometimes a Bahamian mate. This is obviously a trip for the serious.....no bars, girls or crowds. But there is plenty of spectacular scenery, unspoiled fishing grounds, and the opportunity to fish 24x7 for 4 days!.

For more info, check out our web-site or give me a buzz.
