Back Bay Strippers

Anbody been getting any stripers on top this summer. I changed jobs, and have not been able to get out as much as I would have liked. I usually spend some of my summer evenings throwing top water baits behind Sea Isle and swatting green heads. I have missed the plugging, but still get my share of green heads at home.

I love getting a stripper on top. I normally chum them up with lots of rolled up one dollar bills.

Bass with hit the poppers all summer long. Early morning and early evening in the back bays. High tides in the middle of the night good but many do not like to fish then. Black it the color middle of the night.

When water temps get real warm as they are starting to get now. Size of the fish and the number you catch goes down a bit.
