December 4, 2010 - Will the wind ever die!?!?! It was cold and windy all day, but if you were dressed right it was okay. We spent the day on the Apple Pie grounds and had a pick going all day. Archie Stewart from Nutley, NJ redeemed himself today after catching only a few keepers yesterday; he was high hook with eight Blackfish today. Glen Libby from Maine, who had fished with us for years before moving from New Jersey, took the pool. He had some week of pool fishing. He fished with Glen and Scott on the PROWLER this week won three pools in four trips. Tomorrow is forecast to be a little windier, so dress warm if you are coming down.

WE ARE FINISHED WITH NIGHT STRIPED BASS FISHING FOR THE YEAR. In addition, we will NOT SAIL on Monday or Tuesday of this week due to the winds in the forecast.

Zenon Boryszewski - December 3December 3, 2010 - We did not have a very good day today. We started offshore at 17 Fathoms, since we did not like the water color inshore. We had a few fast fish and then waited, with a dismal pick, for better fishing which never developed. There were a few nice Ling and Sea Bass, but not enough to hang around for. We then tried the Mud where the story was the same with some quick fish and then a slow pick. We ended the day on the Apple Pie, where most of the fleet was, and we caught another 8 or 10 keepers. Zenon Boryszewski from Kearny, NJ had the pool. The ocean was getting nice as we headed home and Saturday should show improvement.
