[Fishing Report]

November 3, 2010 - Third day in a row with a great bottom bite. The Porgies took center stage for the first part of the day and they were jumbos. (Two dozen of them filled a 5 gallon pail.) We ended the day with more Sea Bass than Porgies.

Mates Christine and Bryan started filleting at 10:00 AM and had everyone's fish cleaned when we hit the dock and no one had to wait around. There were two garbage cans full of racks.

Scott and Austin Senkarik from Mountainside, NJ won the pool with a Tog.

With a low pressure system coming up the coast, we will NOT sail the day trips on Thursday or Friday. Saturday's trip will be a 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Ling & Cod trip.


Jimmy Yeoh - November 2November 2, 2010 - We had 3 1/2 hours on our first drop with very good Porgy fishing and some big Sea Bass to sweeten the pot. Shorty Lewis from Patterson, NJ had his 50 fish limit early in the day.

We then moved inshore where we had a mix of fish with Tog being the most prolific. Sea Bass, Porgies, Ling, Hake, Winter Flounder and Dogfish also came over the rails.

Light winds forecast for tomorrow should mean more big Sea Bass. We doubt the weather will allow us to will sail on Thursday, but we may get lucky and fish for Ling and Cod on Friday and Saturday.
