[Fishing Report]

February 10, 2012 – A nice day with good fishing. It doesn't get much better than this in mid-February. Not many jumbo Ling today, but plenty of fish. We only had a pick where we caught the bigger Ling on Tuesday. We think a lack of current was the culprit. We then moved back to New Grounds where we drifted and got plenty of Ling.
Danny Pham from Dumont, NJ took the pool with a 6 pound Tog.

Right now, the weather forecast looks good for next Tuesday and Wednesday.


Andy - February 7Mike - February 7February 7, 2012 – We tried Scotland for a quick drop but only short Togs were biting with just 1 keeper and no Ling. We then moved to New Grounds and had fair fishing for small Ling. After that, we moved off to the area where we had big Tog on Monday and found nice sized orange bellied Ling. Mike ended the day with 30 large Ling and nailed one after another on chartreuse 3 inch swimming Gulp baits. He jigged his baits and the Ling loved it. These were our nicest Ling to date. Andy from the Pioneer did it again and won another pool with a Cod.

We also had a few other Cod, some keeper Togs, Mackerel and plenty of banana Cod. Needless to say, we were excited to find the big Ling.
