[Fishing Report]

ANGLER FISHING REPORTS

BLACKFISH EVERY DAY – 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Michael DeVito - December 29December 29, 2011 – We did not have a good day today. It was cold with more wind than expected and a strong current from the South made it rough and shut the fish off. We only got Dogfish and Bluefish to start the day. We moved to the south and fished the Rocks, but only found a few keepers. We finished the day where we started and found some fish for the bow. Michael DeVito from Middletown, NJ took the pool today. Our Galley will be open the next two days.

OJ Kwon - December 28December 28, 2011 – We had a few hours of good fishing today when conditions were fair, but the weather turned bad and the bite backed off. We had much better fishing before the blow and it should be good again after the gale backs off later tonight.

OJ Kwon from Palisades Park, NJ took the pool with a 10 pound Tog on a white legger crab. But there were more Togs caught on green crabs than white leggers. Our Galley will open on Friday.


Jim Brown - December 26



December 26, 2011 – Merry Christmas! We were out fishing today. The story was the gale force winds that made it hard feel a bite and the wind never died all day. Fishing was just fair today with Jim Brown from Cranford, NJ taking his second pool in 3 trips. We think we will get even tomorrow. We have green and white crabs on board.
