[Fishing Report]

January 8, 2012 – It was a nice weekend to fish the Jersey shore. Mostly Ling today with some big Blackfish and Cod mixed in. Some Bluefish and Sea Bass are still around. This is so much better than last year when the early blizzard dropped the water temperature and the fish headed offshore. Carlos Espichan took the pool with a Cod. Ling John had 36 Ling and look at the big Tog the young lass caught. It was a nice day to be a party boat captain.











January 7, 2012 – You couldn't beat the day with nice weather and good fishing. There were some big Tog today and our best Ling fishing of the season. Although the Tog were big inshore, it was only a pick so we headed offshore to 100 feet and found plenty of Ling and some nice Cod around the boat. We also had to throw back a nice Striped Bass and a good amount of big Sea Bass today. What a shame!!! We also had our first Mackerel of the winter. Jose Reyes took today's pool with a nice Cod. On Sunday, we will fish the same grounds and we expect another good mixed bag.
