ANGLER FISHING REPORTS

LING and BLACKFISH EVERY DAY – 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Debra Onysko - January 28January 28, 2012 – A flat calm ocean and a beautiful morning greeted us today. We were able to drift for the first few hours before the wind picked up and then we anchored. Ling fishing was slower today and we suspect yesterday's strong Southerly wind was the culprit, but we still managed 500 Ling. We had some Tog on clams and crabs and a couple of Cod. Jerry Harley from Totowa, NJ got the pool winning Cod and Debra Onysko from Jersey City , NJ had the other Cod. Mate Brian was busy filleting all day. There were a few Dogfish and a load of banana Cod on our last drop of the day. Tomorrow looks good.
