Angler party Fishing report , Atlantic Highlands 1-2
December 30, 2011 – Finally, we had a nice day on the water. We will not see many more days as nice and as warm as today. Anchoring conditions sucked to say the least, but we put together a good catch of Blackfish.
Little Joey - December 30Justin - December 30Ray Watson - December 30Z-man - December 30

We wanted to try Scotland to see if some Ling moved in along with Togs and we had some fresh clams today. We were disappointed and only saw a few Ling, but we did catch a lot of nice Togs on clams. Little Joey made his first limit catch all on clams and his grin tells the story. Justin from Edison, NJ used crabs and had a limit plus. Ray Watson from Livingston, NJ got 5 keepers and the biggest took today's pool. Ray also had the second biggest Tog. Steve Zaretsky, who always fishes the starboard side, finally connected when he moved to the port side of the boat.
The ANGLER is sailing Saturday, but we are NOT SAILING SUNDAY NEW YEARS DAY.
Michael DeVito - December 29December 29, 2011 – We did not have a good day today. It was cold with more wind than expected and a strong current from the South made it rough and shut the fish off. We only got Dogfish and Bluefish to start the day. We moved to the south and fished the Rocks, but only found a few keepers. We finished the day where we started and found some fish for the bow. Michael DeVito from Middletown, NJ took the pool today. Our Galley will be open the next two days.
OJ Kwon - December 28December 28, 2011 – We had a few hours of good fishing today when conditions were fair, but the weather turned bad and the bite backed off. We had much better fishing before the blow and it should be good again after the gale backs off later tonight.
OJ Kwon from Palisades Park, NJ took the pool with a 10 pound Tog on a white legger crab. But there were more Togs caught on green crabs than white leggers. Our Galley will open on Friday.
